Lecturer in Informatics with experience in teaching and academic development. I am actively involved in delivering several core and advanced courses in the field of computer science.
My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding while guiding students toward practical implementation through projects, case studies, and applied problem-solving. I encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and the effective use of technology in both academic and real-world contexts.
Research Assistant — Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang (2025)
Actively involved in research on an AI-based Tsunami Early Warning System integrating oceanographic data analysis. The study processes ERA5 datasets, Sentinel-2 satellite imagery, and coastal CCTV images to detect sea wave anomalies using deep learning models (RNN, LSTM, GRU, and CNN). Conducted in international collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) to develop a machine learning–based early warning prototype supporting coastal disaster mitigation.
